The roses first cup game of the season against Eton Manor, who roses had previously met three years ago, saw us playing on a fast pitch similar to our own.
Roses took some time to get into the game causing them to concede the first try after an impressive run by Eton Manors number 8.
Roses responded with some strong forward carries, including Bex Goodwin who powered her way over the line scoring twice in a physically demanding game.
However, it was Eton Manor who came away with the win due to their relentless attack.
Lauren hunt received back of the match for her decision making throughout the game.
Forward of the match went to Chloe for her hard carries and her organisation of the defensive line.
The Dartford Roses next league game is live @ THE LODGE, Sunday 13th of October vs Canterbury Women.
