The Super 2'sssssss were back in action this week hosting Canterbury 5's at The Lodge. Game on rules were in place as Canterbury unfortunately couldn't field a full team, huge shout out to Paul Gallagher and Vince Mailey for stepping up to fill their spaces.

Valley were into the gale force winds for the first half and under pressure from the off as Canterbury scored first from a good grubber and chase, but the Super 2's soon found their stride and their foothold in the game.
The forwards were carrying the ball well making some serious yards and in defence worked tirelessly, with 0 handling errors under the high ball!

Whilst in attack the backs played with great shape and fluidity always making sure they looked after themselves at the breakdown leaving the forwards to do their thing in the middle of the park.

Tom Castleton separated their defence like Moses did the red sea to score 3 fantastic tries and walk away hat trick hero!

After a serious injury to Johnny O'Connor and their 10 having to leave the field with no replacement , Canterbury called the game early with the Super 2'sssss coming away victorious 33-12.

Gavin Mundy earned player of the match for his great ball carries and Mike Blackston was DotD for trying to score without the ball after being stripped by the Canterbury 10 under the posts.

Massive thank you and we'll done to debutants Jack and Matt!
