Final Score: DV 15 – 56 Gravesend
After a challenging season of building numbers and sharpening skills, the Dartford Valley U15 Boys took to the pitch this weekend for a vital development friendly.
Despite the windy conditions, the lads looked the part in their brand-new kit, showing a sharp new look thanks to the generosity of their team sponsor :
Mark Aylwin & his company Callisto Homes.

With regular captaincy sidelined by injury (though still present and cheering from the touchline), long-time squad member and Prop Abel stepped up to the helm. Leading a side featuring several new comers—some playing their first-ever game of rugby—Abel steered the team through a physical 60-minute battle.
While the final score favored the visitors, it failed to tell the full story. Gravesend arrived having played three leagues higher this season, yet Dartford Valley made them work for every single try. The Valley lads played some of their most cohesive, phased rugby of the year, proving that this squad is truly going from strength to strength.

Standout Performance
The highlight of the post-match talk was the recognition of No. 7, Levi Pugh. The Gravesend coaching staff personally selected him as Man of the Match, describing him as a "monster" for their defence to handle.
