It is probably fair to say that this was a game that got away from us rather than a heavy defeat, although our opposition would not agree !!
For 20 minutes the game remained scoreless, on 22 minutes Whitstable scored an unconverted try. On 29 minutes We scored a try through a forward drive that was converted, thus Dartford took the lead.
After some dubious decisions of which at least two were cardable offences for deliberately knocking on, Whitstable gained ground and scored a further unconverted try to take the lead. Dartford displayed parity in the scrummage and line out, unfortunately our defence was breached just before half time and Whitstable scored a converted try to take the half time score to 17 - 7.

Whitstable scored a further unconverted try followed by a converted try before Dartford scored a converted try.
Dartford were forced to play Catch Up and unfortunately came up short allowing Whitstable to score a further two converted tries to give a final score of 39 - 21.
There is no doubt that we are competing and we now keep our heads and prepare for a hard game away to Sittingbourne in three weeks time.
